Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Habitachi Island app (the "App") collects, why, and what you can do about it. The App is made by Dibsly LLC ("we", "us"). In short: we collect only what the game needs, we never sell your data, and there are no ads and no tracking.
What we collect
- Your account. Sign in with Apple gives us a private identifier for your Apple ID. We don't ask Apple for your name or email address. You choose a username, which other players can use to send you a friend request.
- Your game. Your monsters (how they look, their names and growth), the items you own and wear, your playground theme, care actions such as pet or feed, friendships, bonds and streaks.
- Health-derived levels (Health & Fitness). With your permission the App reads steps, sleep, water and exercise from Apple Health on your iPhone and turns them into simple levels and a mood for your monster. Only those levels are sent to our server; the raw numbers never leave your iPhone. These levels are linked to your account and used only to run the App — they set how your monster looks, which your friends can see. They are never sold, never used for advertising or marketing, and never shared with data brokers. When you tap "log water", the App saves a glass of water to Apple Health on your iPhone.
- Friends and messages. Your friend list, invites and friend requests, and the visits you send and receive: a preset or short typed message (up to 60 characters), reactions and replies. Messages are filtered automatically.
- Reports and blocks. When you report a message, we keep a copy of it, the account that sent it, your account and the reason, and email it to our moderation inbox so a person can review it. We also keep the list of players you block.
- Purchases. For each cosmetic pack you buy: the App Store transaction id, the product, the date and whether it was refunded, so we can give you the pack and let you restore it. Apple handles payment; we never see your payment details.
- Your device. Notification and Live Activity tokens, an app-specific device identifier and whether notifications are on, so your monster can appear on your Dynamic Island and you hear about visits.
What we don't do
No ads. No tracking across other companies' apps or websites. No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. We never sell your data.
Who sees what
Your friends see your username, how your monster looks, and the visits, messages, reactions and replies you send them. Anyone who knows your exact username can send you a friend request. Nobody else sees your game data, and nobody sees your health numbers — not even us.
Services we use
- Supabase hosts our database and server functions.
- Apple provides Sign in with Apple, push notifications and the App Store.
- Resend delivers report emails to our moderation inbox.
- Vercel hosts this website, which keeps standard web server logs.
They process data only to provide those services to us.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time with Delete account in the App (Me → Delete account, or during setup). That immediately deletes your account, monsters, items, health-derived levels, friendships, visits and messages, and purchase records, and it revokes the App's access to your Apple ID. Reports may be kept after an account is deleted so we can keep the community safe; they hold the reported message and the sender's account identifier. Server backups may keep deleted data for a short time before they expire.
Children
The App isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and each player can read only their own data and what their friends share with them.
Your choices and rights
You can turn off Health access, notifications and Live Activities in your iPhone's Settings at any time. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it by emailing us. Depending on where you live you may have other rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
Changes
We'll update this policy if what we collect changes, and tell you in the App about significant changes.
