Terms of Use

Draft — under review. This text is a draft for Dibsly LLC's own review and may change before Habitachi Island launches.

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Dibsly LLC ("we", "us") about the Habitachi Island app (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If the law where you live requires a parent's or guardian's permission at your age, you need it too.

Your account

You sign in with Apple and pick a username. Keep your iPhone and Apple ID secure: you're responsible for what happens on your account. Usernames must follow the rules below, and we may change a username that doesn't.

Your monster and your health

With your permission the App reads steps, sleep, water and exercise from Apple Health on your iPhone to set your monster's mood and growth. It's a game, not a medical or fitness device: nothing in the App is medical advice, and the levels it shows are approximate. Talk to a professional about your health.

Friends, messages and conduct

You can add friends, send your monster to visit them with a short message, and react or reply to theirs. Names and messages are filtered automatically. Don't use the App to:

Reports, blocks and moderation

You can report a message or block any player at any time from inside the App. When you report a message we receive a copy of it to review. We may remove content, change usernames, and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, with or without notice.

In-app purchases

The App sells cosmetic packs (hats, accessories, held items and playground themes) as one-time, non-consumable purchases through Apple's App Store. Prices are shown in the App before you buy. A pack gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use those cosmetic items inside the App; it has no cash value and can't be exchanged or sold.

Changes to the App

We may add, change or remove features, items and content, and we may stop offering the App. We'll try to give notice of major changes inside the App.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Me → Delete account (or during setup). Deleting it removes your monsters, items, friends and messages and can't be undone. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

Apple

These terms are between you and Dibsly LLC, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and isn't responsible for any claims about it. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the App, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

No warranty and limits of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, Dibsly LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, and our total liability for any claim about the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State in which Dibsly LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we'll tell you in the App before it takes effect; using the App afterwards means you accept the new terms.
